The programme supports Nordic cooperation within art and culture. The general aim is to provide support to innovative projects of high artistic and cultural merit, that promote a multifaceted and sustainable Nordic region.
Nordic Currents is designed as an open platform where participating projects are invited to showcase the richness and quality of contemporary Nordic culture and art in the neighbouring European countries, as well as promote long-term collaborations between Nordic and European actors.

NB! The call is only open to lead applicants that are based in one of the eligible countries listed above. Organisations based in other countries, including the Nordic countries, cannot act as lead applicants.

NB! Proposals must include at least two partners from different Nordic countries, who will be actively involved throughout the project.

NB! Activities must take place between 1 June 2027 and 1 June 2028. Activities outside this period cannot be included in the proposal.
